Midwinter Splendor

"Midwinter Splendor" is the original watercolor painting that inspired our "Sewing Room Snow Day" collection of prints and greeting cards. The artwork combines watercolor paints and digital tools, resulting in Quiltberry Farm's signature style. This card is a rectangular 4.25 x 5.5 (A2) greeting card printed on quality 100 lb cover stock. Matching envelopes are included. "Midwinter Splendor" features antique sewing room furniture with a backdrop of a winter morning under the blanket of freshly fallen snow. For this design, I played on the magic of an invisible wall so that the interior comfort of the sewing room extends into the exterior landscape to combine several things that make my heart happy - the quiet serenity of newly fallen snow, a beautiful unobstructed winter view, and the wide-open potential of a day in the sewing room with nowhere else to be until the roads are plowed. Ahhhhh.... so good!
