Meet the Artist
Quiltberry Farm is the creative art studio of Callé Friesen Designs, where original artwork moves from the page into greeting cards, stationery, fabric, quilts, needlework, publishing, and licensed products.
After a career in education, literacy, and writing, Callé returned to a lifelong love of making art and founded Quiltberry Farm in Des Moines, Iowa. Her work is recognizable for its distinctive mosaic quiltscape style—an approach inspired by the geometry of traditional quilt blocks and reimagined through color, shape, and contemporary illustration.
What began with whimsical designs for greeting cards has grown into a multidisciplinary design studio. Today, Quiltberry Farm artwork appears across greeting cards and paper goods, punch needle patterns, fabric and quilt designs, and licensed products created in collaboration with publishing and manufacturing partners.
At the heart of every collection is the same idea: artwork should invite people to make, give, collect, and create. Whether a design becomes a card tucked into the mail, a piece of fabric transformed into a quilt, or a punch needle project stitched by hand, each begins as a drawing in Quiltberry Farm signature style.

From Artwork to Something You Can Hold
Quiltberry Farm collections are developed hands-on in the studio—from early artwork and color decisions through sampling, pattern development, fabric, production, and presentation. The result is a growing family of products connected by a shared visual language and a love of beautifully made things.
In just two years, Quiltberry Farm has grown from a one-person home studio into a collaborative team of local and remote artists, designers, and production team members who help bring each collection from original artwork to finished product.

Where Art Meets Possibility
Now working from Studio 427 at Mainframe Studios in downtown Des Moines, Iowa, Callé and the Quiltberry Farm team continue to develop new collections and explore new ways for original quiltscape artwork to live in the world—from products created in our own studio to collaborations with retailers, fabric companies, publishers, manufacturers, and licensing partners.
